Pierre Deux began in NYC as an antique shop. Since then, the Provencal look -- as opposed to French Provincial -- has caught on and become a decorating classic. The shop features new fabrics, furniture, lighting, dishes and wallpaper but has the calm feeling of an antique shop. The Pierre Deux look is traditional, classic and romantic. The shop is an oasis on the often too-punk-too-cellphoneridden-too-young Newbury Street.

I've been visiting Newberry Street & Pierre Deux for 40 years! Very nice store- but there's nothing wrong with the young people on the street and their styles! Everyone gets their turn being young and growing old. The world is for all of us!
