I was visiting Boston for the first time with my family and we stumbled upon this restaurant while walking down Newbury st. The food was very good. All 5 of us ordered steaks (different kinds), and we all loved ours. The service was ok. They were very busy so it was a bit slow, but pretty good. We finished off the night with a slice of cheese cake to share, and it was also not disappointing.
I was served by the most gorgeous blond curly haired waiter with a smile to die for! He served me the most enormous Cobb salad I thought I was going to be there all day - and I wouldn't have minded! Now back in London so no chance of asking him for a date but hell folks go there just to see him!
I stopped here for lunch on Father Day and only had a half hour for lunch before heading to the airport. I asked the server if it would be possible to order and get lunch quickly since we were in hurry. He promised and the chef even came out to assure us he could make anything we ordered quickly. As promised the cheeseburger and french dip were served promptly and delicious! Great service and food.
I have tipped a few beers here, had a couple of meals here, and just enjoyed the vibrant flow of life about me here, but never have I not enjoyed the time spent here. Above average service, food menu, and ambiance. The as yet untried outdoor dining, the indoor decor, the lower level bar with style, it all works well. We three split 'tween roasted chicken salad, cheeseburger, and a pasta dish. No complaints, but a bit of take home. Prefect!!!!
